Nut straight, ugly board.
How badly did I screw this up on both turn and river? I'm new at the table, so no reads.
Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
UTG+2 ($5.40)
MP1 ($42.21)
MP2 ($12.10)
MP3 ($10.70)
Hero ($24.65)
Button ($10.10)
SB ($16.80)
BB ($51.91)
UTG ($29.45)
UTG+1 ($24.30)
Preflop: Hero is CO with K , A . SB posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, MP1 raises to $0.8, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.80, Button calls $0.80, 1 fold, BB calls $0.55.
<-- I vary between reraising and smooth calling with AK here.
Flop: ($3.30) Q , Q , J (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.
Turn: ($3.30) T (4 players)
BB bets $3, MP1 calls $3, Hero raises to $10, Button folds, BB folds, MP1 calls $7.
<-- Ok, hit the nut straight, but JJ, TT, QJ and maybe QT are possible hands that all crush me. Both villains look interrested, so I make a semi-small raise planning to fold to heavy aggression (i.e. one caller and a push). Do I raise more here (folding just seems incredibly weak)?
River: ($26.30) 8 (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $13.85, MP1 calls $13.85
<--when he smooth called turn, at the time I put him on a slow played queen of some sort, although a boat with JJ and TT is obviously an option. A flush with AcQc is also a possibillity.
I figure any queen will pay me off, as will a 9 that has somehow managed to sneak in there. My reasoning for pushing is that not many people will check a boat or a flush to me here (looking back, the smooth call on the turn actually probably is exactly what a boat would do).
How much is to be won from someone with a Q as opposed to me losing my stack to a boat? Good push, or is a check behind in order here?
