    Default Another AA vs KK

Ok i know you've probably had a million and one of these, but i feel i still need clarification on the best strategy here.

The options i've thought of are:

    1. Play it passively (hoping he bets small on each street)
    2. Get it all in straight away
    3. Eventually get it all in but on a later street
    4. Fold

    i hate options 3 and 4.

    The hand Plays like this...

You have KK in EP and raise the pot, and a guy minraises you. Now disregarding any other play for the moment you decide to flat call.
The flop is a bunch of raggedy ass poop: three low cards.
You check and he bets a modest amount for the size of the pot (lets say the pot is 12 bb and he bets 5bb)
And now you raise this bet to 15bb (because you thought he was weak or could've been) and he minraises to 25 bb.
    ..
From here im unsure in this case of what to do.
I chose option 2 and put all my chips in there.

Is calling down and passive play ok here? You suspect he has AA.

Which play holds greatest EV in the long run? Maybe thats not answerable because of the amount of variables.. but still i'd appreciate some kind of consensus on what play generally works out better
We are putting villain on QQ-AA or AK (with only a small chance he's not got this)
Im not thinking anything about chances of making him fold AA here, or chances of him folding QQ/KK/AK/any hand here.

In fact im thinking of not folding this hand at any point. Maybe i should.. i dunno! if my wind was any longer i'd be a tornado
    you cant handle the truth!

My standard play with KK if someone plays back at my raise is to re-raise them 3x their total bet (ie re-raise $10 if they make it $3) and have at it.

If they push back then it's all-in pre-flop unless their stats are like 5/0 and we can narrow it down to them having exactly AA and nothing else.

If that's the case then I will call their re-raise and see what the flop brings...any K I'm all-in, any A I'm check-folding, anything else then will check for re-draws on the board before continuing.

This is my general play for AA, KK or QQ if I'm played back at pre-flop but does rely a little bit on stats and reads in regards to re-raise/call if not holding AA.

Thats just it. If you flat call here you lost the best chance you had to finding out if he has AA. If you flat call you give up the best chance you had of knowing if you are head or behind. Given a non set board you are going to put in a lot of money and possibly be behind the whole way. Reraise. I reraise to 25 or more bb. If he calls it really reduces the chances he has AA.

You play your big pairs too passively. The thing is, if you had reraised preflop and he reraised again, you can put him on a big pair. I've never folded KK preflop, but taht would be the best chance of finding out if he had AA, as Eric says. Also, not leading the flop is a good way to get stuck with a big pair like KK. If you lead, and he pushed for example, you might have gotten away from the hand.
My sig is too much for you to handle.
