Default This hand bothers me. Help!!

    Villan is pretty tight.

Is this a bluff on the river or did he get there??

Ok yeah its a scary board.

But why the All in by villan?? wouldn't a value bet be better if he made the flush.

I probably would have called a modest size raise

maybe he thought you would think he was bluffing, and you would call and pay him off. I've caught the nuts before and bet all in like he did, and like every third time someone pays me off. usually they have TPTK or 2pair and can't fold. sometimes they have even worse.

Not in this case. You've been aggressive after the flop so he thinks you will call all in.

With such a small pot on the river I think this is an easy fold. Villain is putting you allin because he probably knows you have a good hand (but he has an even better one) and knows you are temptet to call his allin.

    Thanks for the input.

I ended up folding though I was tempted as hell to call, but the pot was on the small side, I just did'nt buy the All In.

Bottom line I figured that if he chased that flush calling a CR and river bet he must have gotten there. I was really hoping the CR would have pushed him out.

Bet the flop, bet the turn, bet the river and fold to the raise. He obviously has at least a J here, why call hoping to split?

The turn check-raise is pretty bad. Whenever he bets, he usually has a J anyways, and sometimes Q-J. Even if he actually bets here without the straight, he rarely calls your raise with anything less. All you're doing by check-raising is turning your hand over.

Easy fold. My guess is QJ. but there are plenty of other combinations for str8s and flushes.

I have lost to much calling with the low end of the str8. Now I avoid them to an All-In like this.
