Default Ooops, a hand to go along with below post. River bluff.

Is my play here flat our horrible or am I representing the canoe? If I had to do it again, I've value bet the river instead of potting it. A solid player would probably ask themselves if I'd pot the river with the nutz. I'm sure you guys would pick this off in a heartbeat? Oh, and yes I know I should fold PF, but q10 = nutz obv (And I have a bad habit of calling min-raises because of a subconscious leak to bust those sharks).

Again this is 600 NL 6-Max, no read whatsoever on Villain except that I'd seen him call a flop and turn, only to fold on river in a previous hand. I'm not pegging him as weak-passive just because of one hand though.

You're only representing 33/KJ really.. I don't like it. He might be on the flushdraw though.

i hate the flop check-raise, it screams draw on that board. your river bluff is real big...i cant imagine any monster potting that river.

I'd check raise anything but a set there (AK, KJ...) which i'd lead out with. The main reason I check raised was so I could take control of the hand and make him play kq or ak passively (and give myself a chance to get him off those hands depending on later streets...it turned out that no draws came to fruition, which is why I think my river bet is just awful and I had to hope he was on a draw or just a bad player).

But yeah, even if I am repping 33, I wouldn't of potted the river with that hand. Damn this is horribly played lol.

It's not really believable that you would flat call AK or even AJ preflop. Not to mention JJ/KK.... of course, that implies that villian has a read on you so whatever.

I am not sure that the pot-sized bet on the river is that bad. Yeah, it's a little strong, but you really can't afford to get crying called by betting 1/2 pot here with your busted draw. You need to make a bet that 2nd pair and A-high have to fold. Plus if you bet too little, he might make a move with air!

I am not a big fan of the flop c/r semibluff OOP with a straight draw on a 2 tone 2 broadway board either.

I think this is just one of those hands where you are are either betting into a hand, or he's calling with crap. The river solution for both possiblities is totally different (check/fold vs. bet like a man) so you're kinda screwed.

A lot of times you are better off just calling the flop here. You risk being pushed off your hand when you reopen the betting.

Plus, a lot of the time he checks the turn and you get a free card. In your case, you had to bet the turn to continue representing your boat.

BTW, I don't think representing full houses is ever a really good idea. Full houses get looked up generally. That's why we love them so much!
