    Hi, I am new to 100NL Texas Hold 'Em. Did I play this hand good?

    Party Poker
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $0.50/$1
    4 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    Hero: $99
    Button: $65.64
    SB: $60.75
    BB: $240.11

    Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with 2 7
    Hero raises to $4, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

    Flop: 5 T T ($12, 3 players)
    SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $10, SB calls, BB folds.

    Turn: 8 ($32, 2 players)
    SB checks, Hero bets $25, SB calls.

    River: 7 ($82, 2 players)
    SB is all-in $21.75, Hero calls.

    Results:
    Final pot: $125.5
    SB shows Jc Ah
    Hero shows 2c 7d

    I prefer a limp-reraise.

    And sometimes I like to check the flop to let them catch up a little.

    I prefer a 1$ turn bet to feign weakness. Besides that your line seems A1.
    when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
