Default Here's a leak I'm trying to fix

Getting AK in EP/MP (with no reads yet on the other players), I usually lead out with a 4-6XBB bet depending on what will leave me with 1-2 callers. Then the flop comes and it's either rags or undercards or both OR I hit TPTK. Like in this hand, I fire out a PSB OOP and get a caller. Now I am lost thinking what could he have?

Comments on how to proceed here?

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG+1 ($25.90)
    UTG+2 ($9.45)
    MP1 ($31.05)
    Hero ($20.60)
    MP3 ($25.55)
    CO ($8.15)
    Button ($17.70)
    SB ($4.85)
    BB ($17.00)
    UTG ($11.25)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, K.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.5, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls $1.25.

    Flop: ($3.40) 9, 8, A (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $3, UTG+1 calls $3.

    Turn: ($9.40) T (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero ???

My guess is that he is on a draw, so I bet again to make him pay for the draw. If raised I may fold.

On a less coordinated board, I check behind on the turn to control the pot size, but the 98 and 2 clubs make a draw likely here.

I bet $6. This is the sort of board im likely to check behind on the river since it is so likely he is drawing.

    Reads help alot with this.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

So, if you don't mind, let me ask you to speculate. Say the villain was 18 / 5 and was moderately aggressive post flop. How would that change your thinking. Conversely, if the villain were 48 / 20 ... what would you do?

Basically If hes 48/20 hes far more likely to have one of the draws or a weaker A than if hes TAG.

If hes TAG he probably wont even have AJ here. More likely to be AQ, AK or a hand that beats you.

So if hes loose id be betting (probably around 2/3 pot and maybe even 1/2 on the river to catch a weak A) whereas If hes TAG im more likely to check behind on the turn and call a reasonable sized bet on the river from a bluff/ AQ or a value bet.
