Default Tricky spot with Jacks - 200nl

Both villains are pretty loose and not very good, what do I on the turn?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB ($20.40)
    BB ($362.81)
    UTG ($60.19)
    Hero ($207.90)
    Button ($93.48)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, J. SB posts a blind of $1.
1 fold, Hero raises to $7, Button calls $7, 1 fold, BB calls $5.

    Flop: ($22) 4, 6, 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $15, Button calls $15, BB calls $15.

    Turn: ($67) 5 (3 players)
    BB checks, Hero ???

Bet 50 and be done with the hand.

    Or check.

I'd check. If BN pushes and BB doesn't fold, fold.

I usually check here. There are a lot of hands that bad players can have that beat you. I also bet more on the flop.

i wonder if checking the flop is an option?
lots of scary cards hit the turn potentially and perhaps we wait till then to bet?

I'd never check the flop. It's heads-up and you have an overpair. Bet for value.

I'd check behind on the turn, not many worse hands call a bet.

Edit: I guess it's 3-handed. I still bet the flop almost 100% of the time.

3 handed, nasty board not a ot of cards hit the turn we like. Im not saying i dont bet here but of opps are quite fishy how many are really folding anything on the flop?
We get a big pot developing with only JJ

Why is it a big deal if they call? You build a pot with what is almost certainly the best hand. And the board is really not that scary, it probably whiffed both opponents completely. Someone may've flopped a set, but I doubt it.

I figured one of them to have a flush draw and the other to have like 67, 77, 88, etc., basically I figured my hand still to be best a lot of the times so I lead for $45, the shortstack moved in as did the other player and I obviously folded. The shortstack has A3s and the other guy had 43o.

I was talking to a friend of mine who plays 5/10 - 10/20 on PP and he says that this is a spot where you kind of have to bet, but some people may disagree. Anyways, interesting hand with a lot of different "correct" plays imo.
