No, this looks like Galapogos will never survive waters deeper than 100NL. That's a whole different game in there...

I love this kind of game. It's so much about line reads and trying to figure out what it means when this particular person uses that line on this board, etc. Just the thing.. this swings so much with so much money, I could never hope hope to stomach that.

Gabe played 3 hours and made $1500.. that's $500/hour. But ultimately, his ptBB/100 is 3.. this is amazing ofcourse when 12-tabling 1000NL, but it leaves little room for error. I mean, one "off day" where you're not really yourself and your reads are off or you get agitated too quickly.. and you risk to lose a lot, fast. I'd need tranquilizer pills to deal with that kind of pressure lol..

Right I just went through all these and I have a shitload of questions for you now. Feel free not to answer them all because I know there is too many. ty

    Hand 1) emm... wtf?

    Hand 2) see above.

Hand 3) What do you meant when you say he annoys you, why the little pf raise and what are you trying to rep when you c/r the turn?

Hand 4) I play the same. You're still pushing the turn if the draw misses right?

Hand 5) What made you push? History?

Hand 6) Dunno wha the villian was thinking here. What did you put him on when you you raise the flop? I mean, do you expect him to do this with overcards?

    Hand 7) Je comprend

    Hand 8) Fair enough

    Hand 9) Ya ok.

Hand 10) Is this not one of those only better hands call our 3bet type things?

Hand 11) vs the right guy yep.

    Hand 12) ok

hAND 13) Is pushing something you do alot when the turn gives you a draw? What would your criterial for doing this to someone be roughly?

    Hand 14) ok

Hand 15) I love this one. nh

yea actually i think im ahead on the flop here sometimes so i called....then when flush came i figured even if was behind on the flop i could still win

this is a much better situation to steal the pot than the first hand because i had double gutshot on flop. flop call is standard and so is trying to push him off hand when the flush gets here.

this hand was stupid. that guy is a winning player but he always call me down it seems when i make overbet pushes with draws and sets...so i figured maybe he would fold to small raises as bluffs but it didn't work.
    Quote Originally Posted by Irisheyes

against most people, yes. against this guy, i would have checked behind on turn. ive been running over him on a few tables (i think i had position on him in 3) so his flop call makes me think he was going to war.

if i call and push turn i think this player (samoleus, from 2p2) would recognize it as a set. just pushing flop gets calls from AA and KK always.

i guess he just though the minraise was weak. its similiar to the last hand...the villian is thinking 'if he has a ten why would he raise it here, he must just be minraising for info'

i get calls here from smaller overpairs enough because they usually put you on a draw with the overbet push

usually pushing here isn't that good because it will run into slowplayed monsters too much (the flop was dry enough where they can slowplay most big hands). this was more of a read that villian would fold TT-JJ type hands.

Hero has Ac 3c (flush, ace high).

Why raise the turn? I can understand it if the turn wasn't a club, but given that you now have a flush draw + gutshot, why isn't calling a better option here? (b/c obv you don't wanna get blown off your well-concealed draw if he pushes the turn).

If you are willing to c/c $100 on this flop, wouldn't betting out be much better here? It's not like middle pair, no kicker is exactly a great hand to induce bluffs with, right (not to mention being oop for the rest of the hand)? Plus you could still rep the flush on the turn and fire a second barrel.

edit: never mind. I just realized that after you checked and button bet, the 2 others folded leaving you hu with button. I'm still not crazy about calling the flop though. Even if you do have the best hand, he likely has a good amount of outs on you, plus being oop w/such a marginal hand makes it so much more difficult. If the turn is an offsuit 2, do you just c/f?

Surely a bet into 4 players on this flop is a hand > middle pair no kicker more often then not. I don't think I like this c/c.
