Default Re: 100NL KK vs. maniac

    Wouldn't a maniac be like 38/15/3.5?

0.76 is rather passive. 38% vpip means 89s is in his range. But 0.76 tells me he's unlikely to raise (and over the pot amount to, $27 into $23) an A high flush draw. Set line is possible too. Not to mention an aces limping possibility.

I call the raise, fire again on the turn with $30, folding to a raise and keeping my last $40 for a hand I don't have only an overpair against such a draw heavy board.

But I'm kinda weak/tight in spots like this.

60 hands is not enough. Against a maniac you should push on this draw heavy board.

    Easy push.
