    Hand 1:
A9o UTG+2? Are you kidding? Fold pf.
Without a good read I wouldn't call any of those bets either. Unless you're sure they don't have an ace (I mean you only beat four possible kickers).

    Hand 2:
I think QJs is a tough hand, so easily dominated. If you're going to play it then it's right to raise, I think, don't want to open limp, but a min-raise is a bit dodgy.
This is Prima right? I think 3-4xbb would be right. If you can't cought that up for QJs then it's a good sign to fold the hand.

Calling the re-raise is risky. Who re-raises? (If your raise had been higher it'd give more info).
Having called I'd be looking for str/flush possibilites or better. TPWK against this aggression. Well, I wouldn't want to be facing those bets with that hand.

Still, my record at $50NL isn't stellar
    Blah blah Op Blah blah

fold preflop in both hands...if you want to play QJs then make a real raise, not a minraise, but i prefer to only play this on the button, cutoff, or hijack

#1 fold preflop or raise. Limping with that trash gets you nowhere

#2. If table is weak a limp can be done. Otherwise fold or raise. Minraising makes baby jesus cry.

I agree with what you all said 100%. Actually these arent the true HHs. I switched my hand and plays with opponent. In the real hand I was the one raising my opponent was calling. I was actually Bluffing these 2 hands. I figured I had made good believable Bluffs, and that my opponent was just an un-bluffable Donk making bad calls. I wasnt sure if maybe it was just me that thought my opponent should have folded. So I wanted to see if opponent and my positions were switched. If other people thought I (really my opponent) was beat and should fold. Also if other people thought my (really my opponent) had made bad plays. I was hoping to get more responses, but it seems unanimous that my opponent DID make bad plays. And that against a better opponent my Bluffs probably would have worked.

Heres the real HHs. On the 2nd hand the PF raise I called I know wasnt a good call, but I went into this hand pretty much sure I would be bluffing. I usually wont make a call like that.

    Interesting way to post...

Also: fold these hands preflop, Kxs are shitty hands, what do you do if you hit a king? Most times you don't hit your draw, and when you do, you don't make a flush 2 out of three times. Then you try bluffing with your draw and get mad when A9 called you down... This is major tilt play!

But you also see how you CAN actually make money here: Have AQ next time in both hands and you would have won a nice pot...

Play tighter and value bet with TPTK.
In order to live you have to be ready to die!

wow your 2nd hands are 10 billion times worse than your first hands. those are instafold without even thinking about it preflop. and why are you trying to bluff calling stations? villains definitely played their hands way better than you played yours. why the fuck would you call a raise and a reraise with K5? why the fuck would you open limp k7 from utg+1? if you are playing hands like that that means you are playing A LOT of hands..your opponents are going to notice, i probably would have called you down too because your vpip is probably at least 50 and your AF is probably pretty high too.

Yeah, no offense, man, but these are really bad. A) They're all instafolds PF and B) the postflop play is awful, esp. in the second hand. What are you doing there, OOP against two villains? If they had been kind, they would have just massively raised your transparent little draw-pricing bets (as I would have done). Instead, QJ villain let you dig your own grave. As was just said, if you're pulling this kind of shit with any regularity, there's nothing remotely donkish about calling you down with TPWK.

Yea normally I never play hands like this. I may limp Kxs and fold the flop unless. I get a 4 flush or 2 pair.

I played these hands planning to Bluff them. Testing some plays out, I dont usually bluff much. I flopped a 4 flush so it was a semi-bluff. I figured that if they had a strong hand they would re-raise. But they just called. So I put them on a Flush draw or a bad pair. I was pretty sure I made it look like I had a stronger hand than a bad pair. Which is what they had. When they called me down and won. I wanted to know if my play was bad or if opponents just made bad calls.

From the responses I got here. Plus what I think would be the case. Is, that most/better players would, without a read, In a similar situation. Also fold my opponents hand.
  12. #12
your opponents obviously made good calls if they won.

Wow! You really went off! You should maybe count to 10 and calm down a little bit before you respond to a post that gets you this upset. Get a grip man!

I made this post about a week ago and got 4 responses. I thought it was dead. I posted the results. Next thing I know theres people totally freaking out about my play. I didnt think anyone would get nearly this worked up about it. That just not right.

Also like I said before I never play hands like this. I also very seldom bluff. I told you I was testing out some different plays. I had been playing tight. I tried to pull off a couple bluffs. Trying to get better at bluffing. I thought I played them good, but wasnt sure after I lost. I wanted to see what most people would have done if they were my opponent. So I posted it here.

It would have worked on everyone that responded before I posted the results. Since that was the case I thought the play was good. But now that I know some of then are total freaks I'm not sure anymore.
  14. #14
i didnt go off at all...i used the word fuck twice what are you 12? and you posted this 3 days ago...not a week ago. and your plays may or may not have worked on everyone that posted, considering they have no reads on you because they werent at the table, and most of the people here probably wouldnt have been in the hand in the first place.

now i suppose ill give you some advice...
when you bluff you need to be telling a logical story...in your first hand what are you trying to represent? what hand can you think of that would triple barrel this board? the only one im getting is AT...AJ, AQ, AK almost never bet this river. your hand looks exactly like what it is, a busted flush draw.

hand 2: ok...let me tell you why this is the worst hand ever.
mistake 1: you called a raise and a reraise with a terrible hand, dont even limp with this.
mistake 2: you are in the worst position on the table, playing drawing hands out of position is bad.
mistake 3: semibluffing with a weak draw against people who showed strength pf = bad
mistake 4: betting the river. once again what hand are you trying to represent here? QQ probably check-raises or check-calls the flop, and if it bets it will bet more than 1/3 the pot. 66 probably does the same if it doesnt fold preflop. 99 is quads, pretty unlikely. Q9 folds preflop. 78 folds preflop especially out of position. your line makes no sense. both hands you bet small, bet small, bet big when the river was a total blank. busted draw city.
