Tough one. A raise pre-flop but no re-raise en route to the river. Could be an AK that he can't let go of. Might be some goofy hand like A7 that he thought was good after nobody bets the Q hi flop (esp. with two hearts out). He might even be on 99. AhTh is also a possibility.

I might have bet a little less on the turn (say, 450 - 1/2 pot ish) that might give you a cheaper bet on the river. I might have even been tempted to check-call a reasonable amount on the river and be perfectly content for him to check behind.

Very marginal, could be 99,TT, 7x

    i dont bet the turn.

wat hand do u thin khe thinks u have?
I think ur better off check calling.
Theres no way he has a Q.

check call river for sure. Maybe a 7 pays but I doubt it. Turn bet is marginal, could be heart draw but I'm OK with giving free card if you're ahead.

I suspect you're usually good here. Ax hearts? AT hearts even better? a 7? I think they're more likely than a higher PP or a queen, though his call on the river has certainly affected my thoughts. I too would probably try and show down for cheaper.

river call made me think ATh also

the EP minraise suggests QQ+ (he's a big stack, so if he had a normal raising hand, he'd probably raise more than that. I think he wants a call here. Or is he just one of those dumbasses who minraises alot? Any reads?). The flop check suggests contrary, unless of course he has QQ. I think betting the turn is a an option, but probably a neutral/bad play. I would check and call/fold the river, depending. There are a lot of hands that beat you, namely 99-JJ, AQ, QQ, KK, and AA.

what? did you see the flop/turn? That's AA? Just no. The nuts are not around every corner. Wow. That isn't a range, it's a wildley unlikely worst case scenario detail. You left out 77!

People who min raise a lot suck, people who min raise with hands that want action suck more, people who think they want 4 way action with QQ suck the worst.

I didn't say I thought that was villain's range. I said those hands were possible, and of course its a worst case scenario. And obviously people who minraise in EP begging for action suck, but you still have to understand that players do this, and its a crucial tell against a bad player.

Hero has a medium stack. He's messing with the big stack with a marginal holding. This is a recipe for disaster. Bad players in villain's shoes play 99-JJ exactly like this, and I bet that's what he had.

    99-JJ are perfectly reasonable.

    AQ, QQ, KK, and AA.
are not. Every hand is 'possible'

    Default This is workin_til

From looking at the board and the timeframe...I believe I would only do that type of bet with an A Q (small to medium pair call, high pair or AK 3x bet).

With Top pair and top kicker, I slowed down.

With you betting on turn and with my 3 queens wow! Just called (I should have raised)

    River....you bet and I called....I don't know why I am not all-in...

Anyway, nice to see my name on discussions....

By the way....what were the cards?
