I totally agree here, the turn is push button in or fold. don't leave a meaningless amount behind for the river. and who cares about the rake if odds are the same someone is doing this with the idiot end or a set?

But I just felt this was screaming a six. The hope was that we'd split the shorties stacks and make up for any rake loss.

This is just a bad example because we all had sixes. Yup, all four of us.

SB had 67s. So lost the amount he covered plus rake of the remainder.

I'll have to try to take a look in my PT and see how many of my straights with four consecutive cards on the board have been called down. Perhaps it is +EV to push.

Is it just me or is it unfair that poker rooms take rakes out of split pots. I find that winning a pot and coming out with less then when you started the hand is just retarded.
