Could it happen? My continuation bet was iffey especially with 2 overs flopped including an ace with a flush draw. Along with my flat call of his reraise.

Any chance that you would try to steal this pot on the turn or river when checked to you?

The best move i ugess would to fold to the reraise on the flop.

Probably coudla popped it 5-6bb pre

Yes I suppose trying to get off a donk on his hand is risky especially on this scarey board, I should made it a little more pre.

Nah, you wanted a call from him with those cards and you got it and he outflopped you, however I think that minraise merits a call to reevaluate on the turn.....i still say nothing wrong.

I agree. Too much beats you and you only have two outs. I think the only reason to call the flop min-c/r is if you have a read that he can be pushed off marginal hands, in which case you should have bet the turn.

Another good line is not c-betting this flop.

I hear ya, gotta start labeling the passive players if they dont show down a9 etc.

But opening again on the turn with 3 overcards, u better have a damn good read.

    Thanks

You floated by calling his c/r even though you didn't figure to have the best hand. Then you didn't follow through with your float by betting the turn.

Float = Calling a bet in order to take a pot down later

kind of like a bluff slowplay or a bluff call.

e.g. you call suspected continuation bets on the flop in the hopes that the bettor will give up his unimproved AK and check on the turn. You then bet and hopefully take the pot away from the preflop aggressor. We are floating over the other guys flop bet looking for an opportunity to take the pot.

I knew my response only by reading the title.

I wouldn't try to push weak/donkish players off weak aces. There is no point making plays against opponents that give little consideration to what other people might be holding. You don't need to make plays in these circumstances because they'll pay you off in so many other spots.

What are you trying to accomplish by calling the check-raise? If you were trying to hit a two outer it's a horrible call. If you were trying to take it away on the turn(or river) you failed to even attempt to.

Slow down and think why you're are making the plays you do and what you're trying to accomplish by making them.
