    That seems weak. Villain was bad lagg, also, I should have said.

    I don't think being way behind when the money goes in is a good habit to get into.

    Board: 6d Ad 7h Tc
    Dead:

    equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
    Hand 1: 26.3430 % 26.34% 00.00% { KdJd }
    Hand 2: 73.6570 % 73.66% 00.00% { AA, A2s+, A2o+ }

    Checking behind also encourages villain to take a stab at the river.

    I think villain has a significantly broader range here than Ax. If we have 25% FE on turn bet, it becomes + EV, no?

    Edit: Ok, Renton says I have no FE there. You don't think we have some FE against A weak x?

    Wouldn't the most +EV play, though, be checking the turn? Making moves with lower EV than others is sort of like -EV, isnt it? Economically it is (opportunity costs)
    My sig is too much for you to handle.

    id bet the pot and hope he folds. he calls the flop with too many hands in a blind battle i think that will fold to a bet on turn.

    also consider reraising preflop.

    I like to call his flop bet and then bet the turn if checked to regardless if I hit. If I had a hand like A8-AJ I would play it the same.

    Meh. Too high variance for my taste, and I'm not even a nit.
