Flopping monster against a fish
6 Max 200NL (Im buying in short stacked because im not really properly rolled for 200NL but this table was weak I couldnt help myself)
Seat 1: ($20)
Seat 2: ($47)
Button: Hero ($116)
SB: Villian ($240)
BB: ($198)
Villian is the reason im here hes been playing 90% of his hands preflop and has been very laggy (more loose then aggressive however). Other players are weak too but nothing compared to this guy.
Hero is dealt [Ts, Th]
Seat 1 fold
Seat 2 raises $6
Hero reraises to $20
Villian calls $20
Seat 2 folds
Flop [2s, Td, 8d] (Pot $46)
Villian bets $10
Hero calls
I usually take small bets into a raiser as a sign of weakness and if I had AK in this position Id definitely raise it. Right now Im hoping his betting is going to increase on later rounds.
Turn [2c] (Pot $65)
Villain bets $16
Hero calls
Again a very small bet one I could raise but with a full house im not scared of giving up any free cards and with position Im thinking I can extract another bet on the river hopefully trapping him when I reraise.
River[Jc] ($87)
Villian bets $20
Hero reraise allin to $74
I was hoping he had something and would call me here but this is where I think I went wrong and lost some money should I have just raised a small amount here?
Was this a weak trap against a fish, should I have sprung it sooner?
