    Default Fantasy Football question

Okay, should I start Mike Bell (probable) against Kansas City, or Joseph Addai (healthy) against Houston?

meh, trade for Reuben Droughns. He should be cheap to get and start him instead vrs Cincy.

Otherwise, go with Bell. he still probably figures to get more touches since hes on the Broncos.

Mike Bell! I am a Chiefs fan and our defense was horrible against the run last week. Rudi Johnson had a 100+ with a touch including a couple 20 yard jaunts. The Chiefs will also be overly concerned with the Plummer bootleg and sacrifice run support from the ends. Off guard or off tackle runs should be money for Bell.
That isn't even mentioning how terrible Indy ran the ball this last Monday night.
I will let you know that Denver's line isn't as good as it has been in the past though.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Mike Bell will be sharing carries w/ Tatum Bell and isn't even starting.

    Is Addai the starter?

Rudi does that to a bunch of teams...I would go with Bell - even as a platoon (indy is platooning the RB spot also, with Rhodes) Denver is Focused on the run and both bells can have big games - Until Addai does anything special i would leave him on the bench...

you can get a starting back Droughns cheap since he only had 11 carries for 27 yards in week one.

Browns may abandon the run if they fall way behind to cincy, but he'll still probably get as many carries as bell or addai (both backups)

I dont know Addai's situation in Indy right now, as far as who's getting most carries between him and Rhodes. But here's an article from the 11th on Bell. Tatum Bell that is.

Whats your league setup like? If you have a Flex position where you could sub a WR for a RB and Addai or Bell are your only 2 choices for your #2 RB. Then you might be better off using a Flex WR in place of one of those 2 RB's.

i have both mike bell and droughns, who i went with last week.. droughns sucked big time because they played from behind.. i see the same situation this week.

im going with w. parker and r.bush this week.

    Joseph Addai, DUH.

Tatum Bell is the official starter for the Broncos. That should be enough.

But if it's NOT, think about this: My poor Texans have one of the worst rushing defenses EVER. That, plus once the Colts get a HUGE, INSURMOUNTABLE LEAD, they will run the ball more: translation? More carries for Addai.

    Addai is the clear choice.

Well I do have the flex position, but I am in a bind with injuries. Otherwise, I have the nastiest fanstasy football team that has ever been assembled hands down. If Steve Smith was a definite go, I would start him at WR and probably go with Derrick Mason at RB/WR, but with Smith still questionable, I have to start Mason at WR for the sure points (Smith burned me last week and cost me the game). So that means I can either start Eddie Kennisson at RB/WR or I can choose b/w Bell/Addai. Bell gave me 14 points last week, but I have this feeling that one of these weeks Addai is going to explode and I'm gonna have him on the bench. This feels like it could be the week vs. Houston.

Even if my COLTS get that HUGE insurmountable lead, I have yet to see anything resembling a running game from the Colts. Addai will be sharing carries with Rhodes, and there is nothing here in Indy yet alluding to Addai moving ahead of Rhodes on the depth chart. My feeling is that they will go with Rhodes in the early part of the season getting the bulk of the carries, even in grinding away the clock time. Addai won't get the bulk of those carries until later in the season.

    I'd start Bell.

LOL at the idea that the Colts get a lead and sit on it.

Peyton will still take shots at the end zone through the air if they're up by 21 or less.

I have S. Smith also, but I sit him last week. Im really thinking about starting him this week. He's tough and wants to be out there. But thats going to be a roster deadline decision for me.

Maybe you should check the FA/Waiver wire to see whats available.

YUCK - this is terrible advice - addai and rhodes (both platooning) racked up like what, 47 yards combined last week? The bell brothers had a bunch of yards and scored a TD - anytime, I repeat, ANYTIME you can take a denver RB over a rookie who has proven/done nothing, you take the Denver RB (unless its like the 3rd rb on depth position)

come on guys - Do you guys play fantasy football? either of the bells are worth more than both the colts backs right now - that may change as the season goes on, and addai might get into gear and be something special, but until then you have to go with the best guy...

who has the W.Parker and Bush combo along with droughns and both bells??? Damn - that is a stud RB corps..maybe you should trade someone though - unless your in a 8 team league and your WR's suck, how did you get all those backs?

i wish we had the flex position in the FTR league...but nope
