    Default Help with this hand

I am having trouble with AK hands. I do not get value when i am ahead. I lose too much when I am behind.

UTG runs 80/2/0.4. Other fish aspire to be as fishy as he.
MP2 runs 37/4.5/.4 but he can be tricky.
Both are chasers, calling large bets with neither pot odds nor implied odds.

Do I push too hard? Granted, I won that one. But I am behind AQ, I am behind TT which UTG might well have limped/called. And there is the obvious straight possibility with KJ being in their range. Should I have slowed down on the turn considering the two calls on the flop? I played this hand differently from normal, I would often have been much less aggressive, worried about the above. Should I play like this more or was I just lucky this time?

This looks fine to me. Anything that beats you probably bets the river (or bets/raises the flop or turn) anyway, so it looks almost certainly like you were up against a weak suited-ace that got screwed on the turn into not being able to fold the hand whatsoever.

Exactly what I was going to say.

The other thing about this is the opps have a MUCH bigger range than AQ/TT etc, they can just as easily be on A2, KT, QT, etc. In this case, it is a little more variance, but if you stick to your reads and play their range, TPTK turned trips is close enough to the nuts to play like it is. If you don't you sacrifice a lot of ev.
