Here it is-- whenever I play with unknlowledgable, inexperienced, or just plain dumb people. they always want to host games with EXTEMELY shallow stacks. Just out of plain idiocy; they don't even realize it.

Like for instance, one guy invited me to a game where there were the blinds were $1/$2 and the buy-in was $20. This is absurd!! 10 Big blinds?? That's already considered in the short stack/ all-in-or-fold zone! Clearly, I don't need to tell you experts how little skill is involved with these shallow of stacks. But somehow I can't get across to these people.

This has happened repeatedly in my old house games as well, where many people CONSTANTLY wanted to raise the blinds and skyrocket them as fast and possible. And these weren't even people with the big stack or anything! This wasn't a tournament, it was a cash game, and no one wanted to 'speed the game along' at all. They just somehow felt like they were bigger men playing with bigger blinds or something, or somehow wanted to win money FASTER, or probably performed BETTER with shallow stacks because less skill/ more luck is involved and they were donks.

Any comments are great, this is mostly just venting. But this happens all the time and it pisses me off!! NO I DON'T WANT TO RAISE THE BLINDS YOU IDIOT.

Donk: How bout we raised the blinds to our buy-in? That would be badass!!
Mrgentleman: Um, why don't we just turn our cards face up on the table as we're dealt them. Or better yet, why don't we just cut the deck, and high card wins!!
Donk: huh? I don't understand. Gee, I sure win more against you when the blinds are high.
Mrgentleman: *takes out pistol and blows brains out of Donk
