    YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

25 seconds to go, TTU scores, goes up 31-27, and my sure thing ML squeeks by. Ended up getting it at +130 and w/ some bonuses and some poker winnings I wagered in the area of $300 on the game. I am pumped as well as TTU was on every one (4) of my 4team parlay cards, as was Ohio State. Looks like I could be swimming in some cash come tomorrow...

    Just need:

MIA and Jacksonville to cover and Minn and NE to hang in there.

If these combos happen I could win 4 4teamers tomorrow worth in the neighborhood of $1200 total. Not gonna say its gonna happen, but damn it would be nice.

Woah; was that the trap game you were talking about?

Where did you get your info for who was betting what? That line was as close to even action you can get.

I got the info from sportsbook.com

Big thing was it was a pick'em to start the week then Tech went to a 3 pt dog for no reason. Orginally, the was all on TTU, they were at +110 when the ML came out on Wed/Thurs. Then the money was all on them and it actually went up this morning. I was at the casino playing poker last night, won a buyin and put it on the +110 ML. Then, this morning I opened up the betgameday.com account and it was at +130.

In all honesty I cannot believe the public ended up betting A&M so strongly. IMO TTU played poorly (lost a fumble on the A&M 1 yd line, gave up a KR TD, etc...) and still won at Kyle Field, one of the toughest places to play. The bookies seriously overreacted to the TT v TCU game.

On another note, you should be getting a referral bonus, however, turns out I am not eligible for a bonus being a resident (albeit temporary) of the great state of Nevada. Sucks, cuz I was gonna lay the bonus on it too.

THE PUBLIC DID NOT END UP BETTING A&M SO STRONGLY.

The Sharps did. I just want to make that clear. This was not even remotely close to what you were thinking was a 'trap game.' This was the sharps on one side vs. the public on the other. That was why the line moved initially.

Just a heads up. Congrats on your win.

Sharps, as in ppl who know what they're talking about? The public was bigtime for TTU.

I do not know what Sharps mean.
You know, maybe I am just not understanding it but I think It'd be a great sticky if someone would explain how public opinion, where the money goes, and the cappers affect the line.

sharps = ppl who know what they're talking about, yes.

Public opinion = generally, you want to fade
Where the money goes = this is very complicated; it depends on who's putting the money where

Cappers = also depends; very complicated. Which cappers? What game? Why?

You'll be able to tell by the way the lines moves with respect to the amount of bets on each side.

Give me an example, and I'll show you.
