Then bet the flop and try to get all in on it.

As played, I just call down.

the reason why I checked on the flop:
1) If I bet 2/3 pot, and if he had nothing, he would fold and all I win is the pot. if he had KK he would call or raise anyways making me go all in.

2) if a check on the flop if he has QQ or AK, it gives him an oppertunity to bluff at me since he was pretty aggro post flop.

Is this bad thinking? allowing my oponent to make his mistake? as per the check with KK on an A flop thread we had a whiles back
unfortunately he did not bet and then the J comes out scaring me what if he has AQ (unlikely but possible) or JJ, very possible so I called his bet on the turn. next card to come was an A, now what is my move

i make it 13-16 preflop.
I bet the flop and probably go busto if he caught a 2 outer. Otherwise we might get AK to play by c/r'ing all in on the turn if we bet the flop.

Make a bigger reraise preflop. Bet $20 on the flop. Push if reraised.

If he has KK or TT, so be it.

You just can't check that flop. Giving a free card to any hand with 2 broadways on the board is very bad. That jack on the turn is actually a very bad card for you, since now AQ, JJ and maybe even KJ (if he's horrible) have now passed your one pair.

bet at least $22 on the flop.
he could easily have AK here. if re raised on flop, you are probably good here about 60% of the time here, so a re raise all in would be fine, especially at this limit.
