Hand 3: With the player behind me left to act, do I call flop bet then fold turn? I've been 4betting this hand preflop all day and have been getting paid pretty hard, why I didn't this time I have no idea, except I wanted to keep shortstack in.

Hand one: Reads help but it's 4-handed, and it's sooted! In my limited play recently a lot of the min-raise bets preflop are usually *huge* hands, so take that FWIW. I definitely don't mind this play, though. Kinda all "depends" on how the action has gone the previous few orbits (if it's been shorthanded for a while).

Hand Two: I can see myself folding this preflop, even though it's suited. It's just such a problem hand OOP, and this is exactly why. You hit an ace your kicker might not be good...you hit a jack you could be up against an overpair. As played I probably bet the flop harder, closer to pot-sized, then I might slow down on the turn to see what he does. Good blocking bet on the river and good fold too.

Hand Three: Slam this preflop. You sir just got beat by A2. You played the hand well post-flop, nice fold.

Hand Four: Our opponent has $18 left, the pot has $24 in it....I'm pushing with this hand, on this board....almost every time.

Hand #2 stands out as really bad to me. Calling a raise OOP with AJs, I feel, is questionable but then again it depends on table conditions.

However, when my flop bet gets called on an A high board I'm done without better reads.

Hand one: Reads help but it's 4-handed, and it's sooted! In my limited play recently a lot of the min-raise bets preflop are usually *huge* hands, so take that FWIW.

My experience has been the opposite. The min-4-bet is more likely to be some nonsense hand that's just testing you, maybe AK or TT at best, and the huge hands are more likely to either push or raise to about $25-$30. I haven't seen random players do this enough to be confident in these observations, however.

Hand 2: I think it's good up until the river at which point I'd check, and either call or fold to a bet depending on my spidey sense. I'd probably call because I'm a calling station. FYI, I don't think anyone ever gets a "grasp" on what to do here, it depends entirely on the player.

Hand 3: Just push it to the limit. The BB can isolate with more hands than AA here because most of the time you'll fold, and he'll end up all-in with overlay against the button, who probably has a terrible hand.

Hand 4: NONONO, please bet the turn and push river. Pot control only applies against decent players here (who will fold most hands you beat if you bet again). You're ahead of this guy's range by a massive amount and he's not even folding JTo here. You lost a lot of value.

Hand 2: Yeah, check the river or bet $30 to block.
Hand 3: Oh well
Hand 4: Just shove the turn, no need for pot control here.

Hand 1: I'd prefer a read before you 4 bet any hand when you know the pot is going to be HU.

Hand 2: I'd block bet a tad larger, checking is ok too. I'd prefer checking since he is the PFR and is likely raising preflop with a big ace. Fold to any real bet.

Hand 3: I'd 5 bet probably since he looks like he wants to get all in preflop and we're certainly ahead of his range unless he is an uber nit. As played it's fine, too.

Hand 4: I'd just push turn really, or shove river as played (looks like a blocking bet) and have him call with TJo.
