I'd like it better on the turn when the flush draw completes, if I was going to bluff here.

Yeah, I agree. I'm pretty sure you're getting called here way too often to be profitable, usually by Ax.

if your checking behind on the turn you have to check behind on the river.

Smallish river bluffs (relative to stakes) have no implied threat and I only make them when I can put the other guy on a busted draw.

    Default flop call?

I think you need to ask yourself "what's calling my flop bet?"

    -heart draw
    -Ace

I sometimes play a flush this way if I'm villain. hoping to check raise on the turn, but hero checks behind, so instead of leading out on river and folding air, I'll check and hope hero bluffs (which is what you just did)

I agree that Ace is also calling here.

The only benefit of this bet is that you maybe fold a mid pocket pair that was calling the flop. I think this bet is -EV though.

After checking the turn (especially on that board) hes not going to put you on a hand stronger than "Im hoping for a cheap showdown". This doesnt look like anything better than TPTK and he also knows he wont have to call any more bets (Fnords implied threat thing).

In short I dont like it.

This is close IMO. I'm not putting villain an an ace here to be honest. I'm putting him on Tx, JJ or QQ. Given that, I like this river bluff. I think the K along with unlikely hearts gives you just enough equity.

I'm just not feeling Ax here. I think Ax very often makes a small value bet into you on that river, since the K is likely to have hit you if you missed the ace. This is a bet I would make in certain specific spots.

Your decision rests solely on how loose and or passive the villain is with his range. I think if he folds Ax to that river bet sometimes, the bluff is an obvious +EV move given the lines.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
