    I don't see why you should stop betting. If it was a tournament, there is more to gain if either you get the guy out, so you should check it down to give both of you the greatest chances of taking opp out.

    But in a cash game, there is no added benefit of allowing opp free cards, so I think you should definately keep betting here.

    just play how you would play if there wasn't an all-in.
    Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

    lol. i'm too used to tournaments.

    the benefit of checking is that my opponent calls with better hands and folds worse hands. he knows he can't bluff the pot away from me because the other guy is allin.

    but ye.. my reason isn't good enough. i'm too used to tourneys. i always try and check a hand like that down when i play cash. stupid of me.

    thnx for the advice. i'm annoyed at how much value i've lost out on playing how i have in these situations. i think this has closed a big leak in my game with just one thread.
