What do you think? I'm scared of a flush and trips/boat here. Did I play the hand OK?
My opponent told me afterwards that he had AhJh. Which is believable.

    All results shown in white.
    Thanks

This looks fine imo. I sometimes check the scare card on the turn.

but what if he then bets his king or he bets a queen because he thinks i'm weak?

so what is the point of checking the river if we're calling anyway?
are we hoping he hit the flush and doesn't bet?
or are we do wasnt to give him a chance to bluff at us?
or are we trying to keep the pot small?

I would eaither check, or probe bet the turn. Bet what you did on the flop; maybe a tiny bit lower so you can be raised ($1.75). If he raises your small turn bet, fold. If he just calls, check/call river unless he goes all in. If you check turn and he bets 2x or more of your flop bet, I'd strongly consider folding, unless of course i have him pegged at total maniac. The river is actually another scare, and by slowing down on the turn, you will get max value out of the hand if he tries a small bluff, and you lose the least if he has the hearts or a Q.

Keeping the pot small here is a good thing. You have no idea where you are in the hand, you're wa/wb. Betting the turn or checking the turn are both fine, but if you bet and get raised then you have to fold. If I check the turn I'd call a small bet and either c/f river or c/c a small bet. Your river fold is fine, I'd call this only against someone who is a mega donk and could have a K9-KJ but even then a fold might be better.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
Range has to include a queen, a weaker king and a flush (not likely to be a set played this way at these stakes IMO on this board)
So id check call a turn bet or just check and opp checks behind and then making a blocking type bet on the river folding to a raise as you beat nothing. River could even be a check/fold if opp will call down with second pair here or wont bet behind without having you beaten.

You didnt play the turn card right IMO, thats why you are asking these questions.

Being out of position sucks, don't it?

    EDIT:
I agree, I am checking this turn for pot control almost always.
Where I screw up is that if I check/call turn, I check/fold river instead of block-betting.

Also, to balance the weakness of your line (bet flop check turn) sometimes check/raise the turn with good hands (like a flush).

    Check the turn.

Sometimetimes we need to sacrifice a lukewarm hand on the Altar of Position.

By sacrificing do you mean you are folding to a decent turn bet?
