Default Whiffed c/r, river brings a good card.. I think..

Villains been pretty tight. Really tight, actually. I have to figure that A hit him, and that I'm -probably- still good. My biggest worry is AQ, but I'm not even sure AQ will call this reraise.

Check/minraise better, or I play goot?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($90.50)
    Button ($46)
    SB ($44.45)
    Hero ($190.35)
    UTG ($101.40)
    MP ($197.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, K.
UTG raises to $4, 1 fold, CO calls $4, 2 folds, Hero calls $3.

    Flop: ($12.50) 7, Q, 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $8, CO folds, Hero calls $8.

    Turn: ($28.50) K (2 players)
    Hero checks, UTG checks.

    River: ($28.50) A (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $20, Hero raises to $178.35...

I guess I really dont see the point for this play. We have a good hand but with what hands will our opponent be calling with that give us more value? Why are you so set on a c/r here? If you think that a check induces a bet from hands that wouldnt call our bet then check here, but raising really just doesnt serve any purpose. Check/call or bet here.

yea, it doesn't seem like any worse hands will bet/call that river.
Also I would rather lead out on the turn vs a tight opp.

I like a fold preflop (even though I'm at 31/24 lately). Pot the river and fold to a push. This is spewing.
