    1. Turn suck not matter what opp has. If you had two barrelled this you might have forced a fold, but i think opp having a queen i likely.
I dont c-bet this flop a lot, as i might reraise AQ preflop here and check behind on the flop.

    2. Same ideas. I may call here a little more as opp can bet AQ here and force a weak fold from you, if hes seen you weakly fold ace high in other spots.

    3. standard

4.Id have put opp on a draw too, so i bet the turn rather than check, you can maybe find a fold on turn as opp should know pushing a fd there is just spewage. Id probably not fold this at the time though.

    5. lol he sucks, calling the river after that turn card. You want that call, your play is fine.

    6. seems standard, although at 400nl i dont think hes betting anything you beat a lot... (although he seems like a real fish)

    7. weak. Call that river. I may miniraise turn to showdown free/cheap. (villain is an FTR'er from the sn )

    1. I like a 3-bet PF, but I'd make your 3-bet a little bigger. C-betting is fine, although you need to do it with some confidence. You said you could be on an overpair, but I wouldn't give you credit for one when you're betting $40 into a $90 pot on a draw heavy flop. I'd bet $60-70 instead.

    2. Same deal. You'd be suprised how much respect your 3-bets will get just by betting a little more. I rarely 3-bet for less than 3x the opening raise and don't have a problem with people calling me more than I'd like. Some of it is personal preference and some of it is because I think you're giving people too good a price by betting less. If there are several people still behind me I'll often raise a little more to try and avoid the problem you had with the cold caller. In this case I'd probably make it $44-48 to go. Again, I don't think your c-bet is credible. It seems like you're habitually underbetting the pot with your c-bets. If I saw you doing this (which I should've since I played 700 hands with you) I'd start taking a card off and auto-betting the turn if checked to.

    3. You need to check-raise higher. After your raise the first caller is getting 4.25 : 1 and and the other guy is getting over 5:1. You're making it way too attractive for a draw to call. You need to consider all the action that occured on the flop and think about the price you're laying people. It's not something you normally think about, but with this kind of action with mutiple people in the hand, you also need to think about the kind of price any subsequent callers are getting if people ahead of them call. The turn bet is good. Don't be afraid to bet your hand.

    4. For some reason I'm having trouble viewing the hands now so I'll comment on 4,5,6 later if you'd like. I like when people post hands on pokerhand.org, but it fucks up sometimes so you might want to consider converting them and posting them directly in the future.

    7. Again, 3-bet more. Trust me, people hate getting 3-bet. If you continue to give them a good price though then you're going to continue getting called a lot. Every time you 3-bet you want people to think you have aces. Every time you miss and c-bet you still want them to think you have aces. You mentioned that it was very rare for people to fold to your c-bets. I don't have that problem and I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that I'm betting more.

Villian in this hand is me and I never should have seen the turn. This flop is huge for you. I don't understand why you didn't bet it? I remember you taking a long time on the flop before you finally checked. My intial thought was that you might have QQ, KK or AxKh. I didn't have any specific reads on you because I was 12-tabling, but I remembered that you always rebought to $400 if you fell below a full buy-in that at one point you berated a player for playing poorly in a hand against you. Usually people that re-buy like that are pretty competent and the type of players that lecture others at the table are generally fairly solid although tend to play straight forward ABC type poker. Now to make you sick... On the turn I took a stab. I bet because of how much time you took on the flop and I thought I could fold you off all non-A hands. You again took a long time to call my bet and I thought you had a hand like KxKh. Well I spiked a set on the river. Even sicker is that I rarely raise small PPs like that from EP. My river bet is pretty standard at that point.

General comments: I'd suggest 3-betting larger amounts. Don't make it so attractive for weaker hands to call. Like on hand 7 you made my PF call pretty easy. If you make it 45-50 though I probabaly would've folded. You would've cut down on my implied odds significantly and I doubt I'd call and play the hand OOP. If you're going to c-bet you need to do it with more authority. I just don't think a lot of your c-bets are believable. It seems like other people don't think they are either. Even if your betting pot on your c-bets, you only need to get people to fold 1/2 the time to break even. I'm sure you understand the simple math behind that, but when it comes to putting in money the pot with a hand that missed, a lot of people get shy.

Wow, thanks a bunch DaNuts. I loved your comments to me. Not sure what I was thinking checking hand #7 flop... maybe I was trying to trap you or something, but then I don't know why I didnt' reraise on the turn... nice catch on the river

Your advice of 3-betting and continuation betting more is right on. I think, that for some reason, going from 1/2 to 2/4 I just unintentionally bet less on my continuation bets. Thinking of it now, when I play 1/2 I almost always bet 3/4 pot or nearly pot on my cont bets. Thanks again for the advice and I hope to see you again on the tables!
