Default River bluff against a very weak opp.

Villain is 78/16 over 89 hands so I guess he isn't a right candidate for the bluff but he was folding a couple of hands earlier to me so I wanted to take a shot since the pot was quite small too. How's this?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($7.50)
    UTG+1 ($16.35)
    MP1 ($7.25)
    MP2 ($9.45)
    Hero ($17)
    Button ($10.70)
    SB ($9.25)
    BB ($9.10)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 2, 2.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, MP1 calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.10, Button calls $0.10, 1 fold, BB checks.

    Flop: ($0.55) T, T, 5 (5 players)
BB bets $0.1, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls $0.10, Button folds.

    Turn: ($0.75) Q (2 players)
BB bets $0.1, Hero calls $0.10.

    River: ($0.95) K (2 players)
BB bets $0.1, Hero raises to $1, BB calls $0.90.

    Final Pot: $2.95

with those wussy calls, no wonder he doesn't believe you. worst thing to do with just 22 is call.

as a general rule, do not bluff the river unless you have been making strong bets on flop and river and you believe opponent has shown weakness (ie missed draw or mid-pair)

I do not advise bluffing the river until you have more hands under your belt...your betting pattern tells me you probably need more before you can make tricky plays like river bluffs.

also, since you were willing to blow $1.10 after the river, why not try reraising on the flop to take it then? you could take it down likely with a reraise there, it doesnt look like opp likes his hand.

with small pps, you arent likely to improve post flop, so you want to take the pot there. find out if they like their hand, if they do, give up. This flop looks like he probably missed, then caught up by river

I'm with mixchange. If you want to win this pot, raise his weaksauce flop bet. Paired boards are great ones to bluff.
