Default AA with a scary flop.

    Here's another one to ponder.

    Villain's stats. VPIP 15 / PFR 0 / AF 2 , after 400 hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP2 ($5.71)
    CO ($3.23)
    Button ($0.95)
    Hero ($2.57)
    BB ($1)
    UTG ($1.99)
    UTG+1 ($1.51)
    MP1 ($5)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, A.
    2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.22, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.6, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.38.

    Flop: ($1.22) 3, J, K (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.8, MP1 raises to $1.6, Hero ???

What's beating you at this point? K-K, J-J, K-J and 3-3. He's not likely to be opening up with K-J it seems, so we can possibly count that out in my opinion. Again, he's not opening up with 3-3, so we can get rid of that. Hands that I'd put him on are A-K, K-Q, Q-Q, J-J or, at a stretch, the other two Aces. I get the feeling he'd have re-raised your re-raise with K-K, what do you think? You've seen him play, after all. His post-flop aggression factor suggests he's not necessarily beating you, and most of the hands we can put him aren't beating you. With your small stack. I'm pushing here. Ultimately, this isn't that scary a flop for A-A against one player. You're beating more hands than you're losing to, get the money in.

EDIT: Oh, and I know that K-3 and J-3 are also beating you, but looking at his stats there's almost no way he has this.

Whoops, so he does. I still think pushing is the way to go, although I can't get my head around the small blinds and may play it differently if put in the context of a higher stakes game.

if this guy really is as tight as those stats suggest then you're beat. he's not doing this with QQ, and he probably doesn't have AA. with 400 hands on him you must've seen him play AK by now. does he do this with AK? i'd expect to see KK/JJ lots here.
