This is off topic, and i'm sorry it's in the wrong forum. I just wanted to see if anyone could give me a quick answer. I'm in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico right now, and i got a little sick, so i'm staying in my hotel today.

I decided that i might as well make some money since i'm not really doing anything. So i downloaded pokerstars on my friend's laptop and tried to play. However, after i install it, i open up poker stars and it never gets past "finding host" or "finding site." Does anyone know how to deal with this?

Probably a firewall issue with your hotel's network. I can't play on Stars at work but I can play on a lot of other sites. FullTilt and Party work for me, as does Doyle's Room and some others...
