i figure you MUST raise him. dont most bet their draws in a SH game? if you allow him to minbet by calling, its sort of a "block bet," allowing him to control the pot for his draw.

TAKE AWAY THOSE ODDS. reevaluate the turn.

or, just fold w/ your overs. if he hit the str8, you are virtually dead.

    just dont call the .25!

grand, thanks. its past practice for me to near ignore the bet and make a normal c/b type bet.

I never really know how to read those 0.25 flop bets either. It's been my practic to ignore them and make a 3/4-full pot sized bet.

I think I make it $3 here and check/fold unimproved.

sure, they are hard to decipher, but you still need to pay attention to them. for some, they mean...i have a monster, please dont fold. for others, they seem to mean...i want to keep betting, but dont have anything, please fold. which is which? wait for showdown, and NOTE THEM!

and for you HUD/GT+ users (like me), these stupid minbets really affect AF numbers because it still is a bet, fwiw.

raise, he could be drawing at a straight or a flush, if he has anything he'll push, he would obviously have an overpair or have hit trips with his pocket pair, so its an easy laydown to any aggression
