    Default Set of 9's oop

Villain is 23/5/2 over a large sample, but I don't have any post-flop notes and I just sat down so I don't know how he got his stack. I was planning on c/r'ing the turn... bad idea? What's your river play?

I like you leading out on the flop to set up a large pot. I would've c/r turn as well since an opponent who just called the flop is likely to lead the turn and if your image is less than squeaky tight you probably get that extra big bet on the turn often enough to off-set the times he can't call. For the river i think you risk being faced with a hefty raise over any value/block bet and so c/c on river is what i would do and i am guessing is what you did. It would be unfortunate if he had A-10, but i would likely put him on that or A-J+ as well as the sets (A-A, 8-8) and if he was trying to be tricky/is a weak player possibly J-10.

From Villians Perspective: Now that i think about it, A-K might not necessarily bet the turn IP into what looks like a c-bet bluff on the flop that shut down on turn because the odds of getting a call from a weak hand are slim (I can only think of A-Q and for weaker plays A-10+), though the likelihood that you would make such a strong flop bet with only a straight draw with no other draws present is small the obvious draw came in on the turn. If i had A-K in villians spot, i would probably check turn and call a river bet. I would bet the turn with a set, aware of the possibility of a straight. I would check the turn if i had made a straight hoping to get a bet on the river and raising the pot there with A-K calling the raise occasionally and sets likely calling (on a hypothetical non-6 river) That was quite the tangent but i wanted to write that before i forgot it, lol.

If you do see this Zook, how would you have played A-K in your position on the turn? If you had been called on the turn, would you have shut down with c/c or c/f river? And if you had been raised on the turn, do you fold most of the time with the assumption of having to call the river bet? How often would you suck it up and call both streets (turn and river)?

3/4 pot bet turn, 3/4 pot bet river
    or
3/4 pot bet turn, 1/4 pot bet river then 3 bet

remember you raised 1st, he is trying to play you, not you playing him. you have the aggression, you control the action cause you PFR, he is trying to figure you out. let him guess you wronf on the river.

This is a great flop to check/raise.

Probably bet $20-25 on the turn with AK, fold to a raise. If he calls I'm definitely shutting down and c/f'ing the river. AK could be behind a set or a straight. I'm not seeing a showdown with AK on this board unless it's really cheap or I have a great read that he's FoS.

c/r is interesting... don't you think that makes it easy for him to fold AJ, maybe AQ? I might not c/r enough to balance doing it with monsters.
