I guess maybe you should check the river since no had he has that your beating will call that river bet.

Why? Do you never call with AK-KJ there? (AK is unlikely but possible)

You can check, but not because of what IowaSkinsFan said.

    I think it's fine. c/c river perhaps.

I'm having a serious problem putting him on a hand though. No hands make sense.

Turned or rivered 2pr, maybe KTs or K9s? Surely he'd raise anything better or a flopped 2pr.

Heres an interesting thread in HSNL about maximising value with AA out of position in blind vs blind confrontations.

He's pretty aggressive, and I think he'd raise the draw here in position, if I put him on a draw a river check is obviously the best option giving him a chance to bluff. KTs/K9s is possible, even though he's 16/14 so K9s is probably out of his range here. He's playing kinda tricky now and then, but would surprise me to not raise 2p+ on this flop/turn. Do you guys really check/call the river in this spot unless it's to induce a bluff? I have aces after all, best hand in poker!

I think this is incorrect. When I play 16/14, and someone like u opens the sb with me in the bb, I defend with almost any two decent cards, probably a lot less than K9s.
