Starting fresh
At the end of my first university term I had to cash out almost all of my bankroll to help ease my financial strain. This was not a happy decision but had to be done.
I'm now sorted for the year in terms of paying my fees so I redeposited a small $50 amount at Pokerstars.
Not having played sit and go's for a while (been at the seven stud tables), I thought it would be good for my game to go back to them and see if I can get my br back up to where it was.
Now to go from $50 back to around the $5000 mark is going to take a long time I know, so I figured I'll take this a learning experience and track my sit and go progress on the forums and in a blog too which I'll link to in my signature. With a lot of hand histories included to improve my general tournament play. I hope to post most nights if I can.
I hope it will be a good tool for me and also might act as a nice learning aid for new players as a genuine guide to how fast a br can grow, as this is often a topic that can't easily be answered and is much better shown.
Tonight was my first session:
Two tabled the $3.40 turbos for a good few hours and managed a healthly $10 profit.
This is a considerable upswing and I hope it continues. No hand histories right now, but had aces against kings four times; always a nice situation. Played very few hands in general and coasted into the money to gain a huge profit of 20% of my br.
A brilliant start.
Should level out shortly
Br at $50 increased to $60
Hours invested - 4
Start of term 2 at uni tomorrow so might not get too much play in but I'll try.
Thanks for reading.
