Default Mid pair in position against a LAgg

Villain is running 32/24 over about 50 hands and has seen me raising small pairs (treys) from EP.

My thinking was that his range was quite wide preflop - certainly including big Aces and overpairs - and that the flop was pretty good for me. Best option preflop? On the flop?
