    Default Can i fold this?

It's early in a 5.5 SNG. I'm on the button w/QdQh. I've got 1420, villian is CO w 1120. On Stars. It's early but villian seems pretty tight. Have no other reads.
Don't have a HH so here it is:
    Blinds are 25/50
    PF:
folds to CO, CO raises to 150, Hero calls 150, blinds fold
    Flop: 789 w two clubs
villian bets 200, hero raises 350 to 550, villian raises 420 to 970 and is all in,(pot is 1895) hero?

I know, in know, re-raise PF... but what now?

Without reads this is fine. Yes reraise pre.

what is fine? folding or calling?

Getting your chips in with the third highest hand on a nonthreatening board against a $5.50 player is fine. Results don't matter.

Yes re-raise preflop 100% of the time.

    As played never fold.

More than likely a push from the shortstack with a draw. Pushing/calling.

If he's got a made hand... Very bad luck.
    ^ Worst advice possible, don't listen ^

Thats what I figured. Thanks for the input. Results don't matter to me, but for those interested, villian had KK.

Say I do re-raise preflop to like 400, villian pushes, can I fold it there at these stakes?
What if villian smooth calls the re-raise? The hand plays similarly then, right?

Yes, you can fold then. But it would be tough at these stakes. You should have the goal to last as long as you can but at the same time try to accumulate chips. Seeing flops and then going from there is better than calling AI's preflop early in the tourney unless you have KK or AA.

I'm never folding QQ here. If you do re-raise preflop, he pushes, I'm calling at these stakes. You COULD fold. I wouldn't fault you. It's just too tasty of a situation where you could be up against AK or less and make a significant amount of chips.
If he smooth calls the re-raise? This flop? I'm getting my chips in either with a strong raise or an all-in to discourage both of the draws at the table should he have either. If he smooth calls a strong raise I'm all in if the next card doesn't help the flush/straight.

id only call if u had Qc but you didnt, too many hands have you beat and i dont think j's would play it that aggresively...
