    Default OESD semi-bluff

I hadn't been at the table long, and didn't know much about this opponent. He seemed a tad on the looseish side. The flop seemed too much not to try and exert a little pressure, but too little to call a push. What do you guys think? How else could I (should I?) have played it?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($61.30)
    Hero ($98)
    MP ($43.45)
    Button ($118.60)
    SB ($97.85)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, K.
Hero raises to $3, MP calls $3, 2 folds, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $2, MP calls $2.

    Flop: ($15.50) T, 2, Q (3 players)
BB bets $10, Hero raises to $25, MP folds, BB raises to $56.3, Hero folds.

Don't raise with strong draws if a re-raise is likely and you're going to fold to it. You're putting a lot of money in the middle without even giving yourself a chance to hit your card. Just call the flop.

I also like a call on the flop, being kinda freaked from the min reraise from an unknown.
if I did raise, I'd make it commit me vs the shorty, and I think yours did (3o into 120 seems about what ur equity is), so then I'd call that push.

Oops, for some reason I thought it was $30 into a $95 pot. As played, folding to the all-in sucks because you're definitely more than 25% against his range.

Yeah u have to call the flop shove even if he shows u top set here..

have to call $31.3 into what will be a $122.6 pot or 25.5%
If he has QQ your equity is 25.7%.

Bleh, thanks guys. I posted this hand immediately after playing it, and seem to have brain farted the number of outs I had.

Funny stack size, mixed thoughts on picking this spot against this guy.

If it's even close, I think you need to gamble it up here. Sometimes you just got to ride on the over-lay of prior aggression.

I hate hands like this. lite raise from UTG, gets min/re-raised, so I guess you have to call.... after flop bet, he has $46 behind. You have 8 outs ~more if he's over playing AQ.

pot odds not really good enough, (~2.5:1), implied odds on a call of 4.6:1, but you kinda have to hope he checks turn if you whiff, which means he may fold.

Fold, re-raise, call all seem equally slightly -ev (not talking about hand-as-played obv.)

push over for image? Or is smaller re-raise better (there was a previous hand like this where I was in the minority for pushing a draw, I think stacks were much deeper there).

I don't like how turn plays if we just call, too.
