Default line check with KQo in position

Villian is a 27/15 over a 60 sample, AF 5 (not like that means anything). Haven't noticed any of his hands.

Does anyone ever raise the flop in spots like these, by an amount less than we think villain will lead on the turn?

ie: villain leads 8, we raise to 18, they call. Check through turn (assuming they check to us) and we get to river for a total of 18.

versus: call 8, and then call 20 which costs us 28.

Just curious if this kind of logic is a good reason in favor of raising somewhat marginal hands in position, sometimes.

I don't raise the flop because all worse hands are folding, or most of them.

    I probably raise more preflop.

I definitely raise flop and expect to be paid off by worse almost always- folding to a push obviously.

I would almost always check behind on turn and depending on villain induce bluff//fold

The only reason I would take a line as passive as yours is if I put villain on complete air, and then I still probably wouldn't. Sauce.

I hate these situations and have been trying to figure out the best line against possible:

    A. Thinking TAGG opponents
    B. Thinking LAGG opponents
    C. Donks

Here is what I am thinking
    A. We call the flop and lead the turn to not allow a TAGG to check through
    B. We c/c all streets letting this player do the betting for us.
    C. We c/r the flop and try to get as much money in as possible

These are spots I am trying to avoid but I hate c/r the flop against a good player and getting called. Too nitty I guess.
