    Default SPEWGASM

Villain is a 12/10 aggro nit. My image is tight and solid, and ive not donkbet since i've been at this table.

LOL at happyclammy being a nit. I haven't played in those games for a couple of months but I remember him being one of the biggest spew-monkeys around. Either he was running bad or else he's really changed his style.

    I like this one too.

Damn Renton, I used to often react to your SH posts with "huh?" but I really like this one and the QQ one.

    Keep playing playa.

edit (why I like it) : this is a scenario where your line looks just sick strong and an aggro villain will be raising c-bets and betting the turn with air a whole lot.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I hate this thinking £50NL-style. If things change so much by the time you're at $400NL then, I suspect, I will never get there.

With a tight and solid image vs. a nit, I love it.

Renton, how does the turn effect his range based on his flop action and tendancies. Are you discounting sets from his range? Are you weighing overpair < AK more heavily? Why so?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

He could have a set. I think he smoothcalls a large amount of this big hands (particularly overpairs) here though, hoping i spew the turn.

Again, I don't know if his style has changed, but when I played against him he was very far from being a nit. His VPIP was more than double what you said it is, and he played very aggressively with draws and sometimes even air.

Nice. This is exciting stuff. Are you now hoping villain jams fast in a future spot with a big hand, only to hand over a clean read? Is villain even capable of that level of thinking? How will you decide whether villain is coming along on the relationship, or just running the same line with the same range again next time. These are things that drive me crazy.

What are your general thoughts on where I'm going with this?

Well im not sure im thinking as deeply as you here. Basically this is the line im taking with a flopped set a large % of the time (probably around 50% of my sets im leading this flop), and im showing up with air here probably 20ish % of the time (although its usually air thats better than JT no draw lol), so basically its a play that wins me a free half a buyin every time i do it because if he calls light he's fucked vs my range. e.g. he can't call profitably here with any nonset hand, even AA.

The play here boggles my mind... nh sir.

I had to read that 4 times before it even started to make sense to me. Then I put myself in villains shoes... and I started thinking "Fuck... he's gotta have a set. Fold"
