What's his range?

No history, villain is 23/7.5 (tight passive) over about 65 hands. I have a pretty TAG image, haven't played any big pots yet. He doesn't seem like the type to make moves.

Flop check isn't standard. What range would you put him on given my read?

I would be putting him on a set, if he was playing his position he would of likely bet out on the flop, and try and take the pot down.

Or at a push A9s. Either way you are not in good shape.

I would be done with this hand, to much out there to worry about.

Seems like he's protecting his hand from the flush draws. So he's either overplaying TP or he's got 2pair+. I don't see a player, as you've described him, semi-bluffing here. I think you have to trust your read and lay this one down.

Why wouldn't villain bet this flop with a set? there are so many draws, if he wanted to protect he would be there.

I don't think he has a set, but that being said, I can see him having something like K8 here or K9, and he checked the flop for pot control.

You said villain is passive, so he's probably not raising light. Maybe raising with J10 of spades or something, but thats a very small range compared to other possible turned two pairs.

this whole post is an argument for betting the flop. Every time I dont bet the flop in spots like this I hate myself when I hit and someone plays back at me.
