Default big hand, lots of money in, lots of money behind

i think i played this poorly in a few places. just recently switched back to playing deep so that's my excuse.

100 6 handed, generally passive table. villian and i both have 200 blind stacks. everybody limps, i complete in SB with 88.

flop is 86A, two clubs. pot is $5, i bet out $9, UTG calls, CO minraises, i call, UTG calls.

turn is 7, now two spades as well, i donk bet $30 into $59, UTG folds, CO calls.

river is 2, no flush, i push all in $130 into $118, CO calls.

how do you change my line? what do you think CO has? what do you think UTG had?

    edit: A = non-club

Why overbet the flop and underbet the turn? Betting more on turn makes the river an easier call for him. Being so deep I would be inclined to re-raise the minraise on the flop.

CO could easily have a hand like A8s/A6s, maybe a big clubbed Ace or 66. I really don't know without any other reads. I doubt AA and there's no way he has a straight.

I make another raise on the flop, like 50, and then put the rest in on the turn. I'm tempted to slowplay but when u're really deep implied odds are so huge ur allowing people to get odds on inside straight draws here and u have to make them make bad decisions.

I dont care whether you 3bet flop or just make a bigger bet on turn, but as played the money went in awkwardly.

yea it felt awkward. why i posted it. haven't played deep for quite a while, and usually not that deep.

he had A8. coulda open shoved flop and he'd call.

I try to get the money in while before the flush board scares off any villains AND while the flush still thinks he has lots of equity. Play it a little faster on the flop or turn. Either way, with a set, all my money is in before that river card hits.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

    all right, few more questions

how do you play if you have A8?

how do you play if club, 4, or T hits the turn and UTG or CO get aggro?

Either of the villians could have had a hand like 9Tc... but those hands wont pay off late, so just like the rest, I say get it in faster.

I think I play A8 the same, It's a bit more vulnerable, so it gives even more reason to bet big early. You need a read to lay it, without that I just go broke.

I don't want to get away on the turn even when the scare cards come. I check-call anything that my 10-outer allows, including implied odds. I'm going to assume that the pot is so big that they wont get away on the river if the board pairs.
