Default AQ, A on flop, opp keeps calling and bets river (25NL)

How is this line? No real reads on opp, HUD stats 33/28/1.5 over 18 hands. Not sure how he got his monster stack (stacking donks no doubt).

reraise pre and then the entire hand will be different. As played this is a rly awkward spot because normally im not calling AQ oop, and normally im c/r most of the flops when i call oop with draws/monsters/air. So i dont really know how to play it. Your line seems fine.
    But def reraise pre.

Tough to imagine what you're beating here. AJ/AT obv, but some players aren't raising them UTG. I don't mind the donkbets, but I prefer a river block bet for $5 or a c/f.

edit: I agree with ISF about rr'ing pre-flop. Donkbetting vs. c/r'ing the flop here (or with a flush draw) is read-dependent for me.

    probably call, flush seems unlikely.

Thanks for the replies, very helpful. What is your typical preflop re-raise range here?

Really? Why do you say that?

vs guy raising so much id repop JJ+,AQ+ as standard. 99,TT id prob play for more than set value. may RR AJ depending on opp flop play. calling still aint great coz you could find yourself just calling down with TP till river most times since you wont find i comfortable playing a big pot wit TP OOP.
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

Very likely the river made opps hand, either him hitting some 2-pair (A9) or he made his flush (some KQs/KJs-ish hand). Think those hands are in his raising range with those stats, right?

I would probably call his bet, unless I had seen him just check his weaker hands behind.

His stats are pretty meaningless being only 18 hands, but I think KJs, KQs, and AXs are def possible here. I'm not disagreeing that you shouldn't call though.
