    Default Seven hands for comment

    ******* Hand 1 ********

His flop/turn calls let me know I was ahead. I see the backdoor possibility on the river, but I think I have to call his 3bet (I'd have folded if he 3bet to pot). Was it a mistake to put that valuebet in there?

Par for the session here. Caught a fat piece of the flop but didn't get there.
Standard or is this spewing to the short stack?

    ******* Hand 3 ********

I went for the limp/reraise but was denied. Not my standard AA/KK play but I do this at a loose table. The PFR for the table was >10% with a couple of lagtards in LP around 18%. I was surprised it got folded to the button. Straight, set or 2 pair. Gotta dump this on the river, right?

    ******* Hand 4 ********

Not much of a read on villain, other than he was pretty tight, something like 17%/2% over 40 hands. The <1/2 pot bets made me think he was on missed AK/AQ so I ran a set line on him. He won't fold jacks or queens on the river to a big bet, will he?

I probably should fire again on the turn, but I'd been shooting blanks all session and was gunshy. I figured he had a pair at least and wasn't folding and I had a good draw so I slowed down.

The only hand that went well. The only question I have here is turn bet sizing. Does he go for more than $1 there? I can't tell if he's got an A or FD.

    ******* Hand 7 ********

Eh, trouble leaving money on the table.
I probably should've bet the turn but wanted to mix it up a little so I won't be so predictable. Villain was laggish but would fold to aggression.
I was going to raise the river after checking the turn, but villain was lag enough (VPIP 58%, AF 3) to have T9 or a set here and I thought he'd bet the turn with only T high or a 9. I thought the CO might overcall but wouldn't call a river raise and I didn't want to get 3bet by Mr. Lag.

Hand 1: I'd bet more on the river but I'd be inclined to fold to his raise, not only did backdoor diamonds get there but the only draw on the flop got there, 9T. Only real hand you beat is a bluff by QT which had a double gutter and is unlikely.

    Hand 2: Standard.

Hand 3: Even with the table conditions as you describe a LRR is still a bad idea. Play straight forward, it makes money and doesn't give your hand away.

Hand 4: I don't like bloating pots OOP with hands I'm not sure about. I like calling flop and leading turn or just leading flop to see what he does and lead turn if there isn't any raise. I like the river check given the way you played this hand though.

Hand 5: Firing turn is spewage. Not awful but certainly not good either.

Hand 6: I like the way you played this. I'd likely play it the same way. You have a lock on the turn so no need to bet to much and on the river either he has a busted draw or will call a pot bet with worse thinking we missed the draw.

Hand 7:Bet the turn. Another club kills not only your action but may also kill your hand. Raise river.

Hand 8: This hand is meh. Getting 3:1 may be enough to call but I'm not sure about this one.

A word of advice, I'd stick to posting 1-2 hands at a time b/c you'll get better responses.

    I'll critique 2 hands.

Hand 6: Bet more on all streets so your river bet doesn't have to be this big to get the same amount of money in. I pot the flop, 1/2 pot the turn to let the flush draw call, then probably 1/2 pot a non-river spade and c/r a river spade that isn't the As

Hand 7: Let's not kid ourselves. There is no way all of that went through your mind in the span of 10 seconds. After the flop aggressor checks the turn you need to bet. Something like $1.25 will do just fine.

Maybe not in the 10 seconds during this hand, but I had a plan to try to squeeze a little more money out of Mr Lag if I caught a big hand and if he seemed to have something. He clearly didn't like the 3rd club hitting, so I checked. I wussed out because of his range and the board paired and he seemed too comfortable potting the river so I just called. Generally I am pretty ABC and bet my hands, but I just had a feeling that a bet there would fold both villains out since the obvious draw hit. I remember that I used to get suckered into calling a river bet from a turned flush when they checked behind me and thought I'd try it myself.

Generally I am pretty ABC and bet my hands,
I'm throwing out a wild shot in the dark that this isn't true. 2 hands out of 8 you show major FPS, stop it. Bet your frickin hands, get better, and make money.
