Default Very difficult spot and a very retarded bluff

Opponent was a bit stupid, that's all I've got for reads.

    GAME #515848828: Texas Hold'em NL $0.10/$0.20 31-Mar-2007 22:45:57

    Raises or calls?

I find this spot extremely difficult, because:

    a) If I raise, I'll be getting something like 4:1 if he pushes so I have to call.
    b) His bet on the river is so weak, I think it may not be getting enough value out of my fairly strong hand.
    c) I don't like the idea of being passive and cally just because the board has paired.
    d) I don't know whether raising would get 999 to stack off or not.

    What to do?

AAAAAAASSSSSS2 was a nit who liked to cbet flops then shut down if he didn't have anything by the turn, imsamiam was someone who liked chasing unlikely draws.

I know that anyone with reasonable hand-reading skills would pick off this bluff with K high, but I just didn't give my opponents enough credit to tear apart my line and read me. I put AAAAAAAAASSSSSSS2 on a scared JJ, and I figured imsamiam for some random 76 type shite.. How dumb was this bluff?

Why no replies? Are my reads too long-winded or something?

    No hindsight for the blind.
Hand 1 raise. If you're not going for big value on this river you might as well fold turn as you've only got two clean outs. I'd make it 8-ish and watch him call/shove 9x or some other junk much more often than a set.

Hand 2 fold preflop twice. I also like a turn bet better than a river bet.

It's the smell. That or I don't like posts with more than one hand, especially if there is no connection between the concepts involved. Just a friendly tip .

id shove hand 1 for value and just check behind on 2 because i think you get called too much since so many draws missed.

I think I'd just bet the river in hand 1 more often than checking and yeah I don't like pf in hand 2.

hand #1 - raise river instead of checking, reraise if reraised
hand #2 - fold preflop, check river and give up, if you don't raise the turn your river bet is getting called most of the time here. I don't like bluffing multiway pots on river after showing no strength.
