this is pretty tough but i think you are ahead here probably 60%? 70%? of the time. i would have made the call too.

Why do I always fold these? Unless I get a strong read that Ponti is a donk, I fold. Him playing many hands is not conclusive enough, and any 6 is def. in his range. I mean how the hell can you pull that move with crapola like an overpair?
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

How many "unknowns" do you typically see? (People who are new may try and make moves)
Has pusher shown down any hands in his two orbits?
Has he been pushing the table around (or at least trying to)?

It looks like a move. Villian can put you on a 50/50 chance of having two high cards. If Raiser had a premium hand, he'd have likely raised you preflop, rather than just call and encourage more callers.

If Villian really had a 6 wouldn't he just call and try and build the pot? Or 3-bet? It's not like there are any realistic draws.

I'd expect Villians range to include 55/88 A4/57 stuff like that.

You have to win 40% of the time here for it to be +EV, I think you're easily in that range. Plus it's always possible that raiser has QQ and can't get away from it.

Looks like a fold to me, but then maybe I'm a nit idk. With so little invested it seems easier just to throw it away. I guess he could have slowplayed a big pair pre, but I expect to see a 6 alot here.

Any action by the villian is going to show a lot of strength once he checks and it's bet/raise back to him. I can see him shoving hoping to get paid off by likely overpairs.

I guess it depends how retarded this guy is. Shoving 88-55 would be insane play from him. I can see 57, or JJ-KK that he slowplayed preflop. After reading some of the other replies I feel like a nit for saying fold lol.

the guy raising the flop is behind us. The all in'ercould have anything but i think youneed to give him credit considering potential fish, playing lots of hands, dont bluff this big without something becuase they have no idea we'll take em to showdown light anyway.

Instacall. A6 or 44 doesn't shove over like that.

I disagree, coldcalling and raising are both strong lines. IMO cold calling is a stronger line than check/3bet push. I'm not saying I'd fold (cuz I'd call) but the reasoning is off here.

It would completely nonsensical in a value extraction sense because if you have one of those two hands you pretty much have the nuts and theres no need to show that much strength. If he did it knowing Renton was a thinking player who was very very aggressive than nh and make a note.

The whole point of my post was to say that cold calling shows more strength than check/3-betting. If you cold call a bet and a raise you have a much more narrow hand range than check/3-betting. Whatever he does it shows strength but which one shows more? IMO cold calling does and villain will get max value out of what shows the least amount of strength which is check/3-bet.

this kind of information needs to be included in the OP so we can make the best decision.
