Default Two hands I wasn't feeling

Awful awful day yesterday. The usual 3 out suckouts when I'm a major favorite etc. In 8 hours of 6 tabling I only hit 6 sets. and 4 of them were victims to over sets. And plenty more ugliness I won't elaborate on because we've all heard it. Here's two hands where I wasn't sure about.

No stats on this guy yet, he sat down last orbit. All I've seen is he tried to slow play a set OOP against me by calling my flop c-bet and then checking to me on the following streets.

Texas Hold'em $1-$2 NL (real money), hand #209,837,178
Table Winnipeg, 1 Jan 1900 6:04 PM ET

Seat 2: tiffen ($111.70 in chips)
    Seat 3: Myytti79 ($191.25 in chips)
    Seat 4: Galapogos [ A,Q ] ($146.00 in chips)
    Seat 6: Bestpokr.BTT ($134.40 in chips)
Seat 7: thaisha ($87.50 in chips)

    Antes/Blinds
Myytti79 posts blind ($0.50), Galapogos posts blind ($1).

    Pre-Flop
    Bestpokr.BTT folds, thaisha bets $4, tiffen calls $4, Myytti79 calls $3.50, Galapogos bets $20, thaisha folds, tiffen calls $17, Myytti79 calls $17.

    Flop [board cards 2D,3C,AH ]
Myytti79 checks, Galapogos bets $40, tiffen bets 91.70 and is all-in, Myytti79 folds, Galapogos...

The previous two hands this guy beat me with an over set to my under set. Did he just set up a third time in a row??

Texas Hold'em $1-$2 NL (real money), hand #210,474,004
Table Rostock, 1 Jan 1900 8:06 PM ET

    Seat 3: bigpott1 ($269.25 in chips)
Seat 4: -Angler- ($8.65 in chips)
    Seat 5: Galapogos [ A,A ] ($105.35 in chips)
    Seat 8: Tommi132 ($57.50 in chips)

    Antes/Blinds
-Angler- posts blind ($0.50), Galapogos posts blind ($1).

    Pre-Flop
    Tommi132 folds, bigpott1 bets $3, -Angler- folds, Galapogos bets $13, bigpott1 calls $11.

    Flop [board cards 6,J,Q ]
Galapogos bets $20, bigpott1 bets $255.25 and is all-in, Galapogos calls $71.35 and is all-in.

First one is though, you're probably beat, but pot odds demand a call vs unknow who could be a donk.

Second one is something for pokerstove, there are a lot of combo-draws, AQ and KK in his range probably making this a call. Depends on what he calls 3-bets/4-bets with. A read on his preflop game would be nice.

Edit : also in hand 1 if you're going to squeeze with AQs preflop like that(which may or may not be good depending on table texture) I think you have to commit on most flops when you hit.

hand 1 i definitly call because of pot odds.

hand 2 i think could go either way but i probly call also. This could be AsKs/AQ too much to not call.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    both are standard.

Hand 1: i prob don't raise as much pre and bet less on flop but as played no chance to get away.

Hand 2: don't fold AA in reraised pot.

If this is true, you need to raise more PF with these stacks. You give him 10:1 then pay him off everytime? Problem with raising more is that you might leak information if you rr big pairs to 20 and other stuff to 13. And if you rr at all light rr to 20 is going to send your variance through the roof.

None of this implies you should fold AA in this hand however. But if there was no f/d then you have to seriously consider folding.

You are giving 10:1 with your preflop RR range, which isn't just AA. It's a mistake to call there with a PP if your three-betting range is wide enough (even JJ-AA/AK is probably wide enough to be giving him 10:1).

Yeah, that makes sense. I still think you can sometimes fold AA in a re-raised pot.
