Default ($5+0.5 5man) trapping w/ JJ goes wrong

    Prima $5+0.5 5-man SNG

    - BB sitting in seat 1 with $1300
    - UTG sitting in seat 2 with $980
    - HERO sitting in seat 3 with $900
    - BTN sitting in seat 4 with $280 [Dealer]
    - SB sitting in seat 5 with $1480

SB posted the small blind - $20
BB posted the big blind - $40

** Dealing card to HERO: Jack of Spades, Jack of Diamonds
    UTG called - $40

Was a little reluctant to plain shove with >12BBs and based on previous history I had strong reasons to expect BTN to come over the top AI and in case someone calls (very loose players behind) I put the rest in with probably the best hand

    HERO raised - $140
    BTN went all-in - $280
    SB folded
    BB called - $280
    UTG called - $280

I wasn't happy to get two callers - my hand's strenght goes down alot. Both of them are on the loose side, but now what? With no better idea I did as planned and reraised AI hoping to knock out at least one of them

    HERO went all-in - $760
    BB called - $900
    UTG called - $900

    ** Dealing the flop: ...

    Have I just trapped myself?

I think you played it fine. There's no need to shove over an UTG limper with >20x BB. The only hands you're fearing are QQ+ and if they want to slowplay such strong hands then good luck to them, because they will need it.

i think limping preflop is fine too. but as played, pushing all in is fairly standard. you're rarely behind QQ+ (they woulda raised instead of shorty). AJ+ hands are likely, in which case they are sharing outs.
