    Default Another critized Tourney Hand

This is a hand I played were the player who lost against me started to critized my decision to push even before the flop then bitched even more after.

Situation Live tournament $40 buy-in, 38 players down to final 7. I am in the cut off position it is folded to my holding QTos with a chip stack of 9000 with blinds at 1000/2000. Left to act was the button a very tight player with a very short stack of 3000, the SB with the big stack of approximately 25,000 and the BB with a stack of 7000. I push all in from the cut off with my QTos and the SB/big stack calls (fairly loose player) with 99. Flop comes rainbow Q84 turn a 7 and river an A. I win the hand and increased my stack to 20,000. The player I doubled up against bitched to no end how bad my play to push was. I viewed it a textbook inflection play as HoH advises. What are your thoughts on the move?

Incidentally, a fee hands latter the player to my right was first to act from middle position with a stack of 7000, he pushed with 97os and I called with QQ. He hit a set of 9's and won the hand. I told him nice catch and moved on. I took a bad beat but do not fault the guy for pushing at all. Ironically the player I was against in the previous hand again went on to chastize the play and wanted to know how I could take the beat without making a fuss. I had to laugh. Considering this guy thinks he is the best tournament player in the area, it amazes me with his lack of comprehension of inflection play and the need to make moves with less than premium cards. Which is really funny considering is loose play.

In the end i took second with pay out of $275.

I have no problem with it. Pretty standard IMO. Your M is less than 3 if there are antes so your super desperate. Q10 is a great hand to push when its folded to you in this spot.
