OESD on flop, is this spewing chips? (50NL)

I felt lost on this hand. Opp's HUD stats were 40/26/10.0. Given these stats, how is my preflop and flop line? Is this spewing chips? I called his preflop raise because I thought if I flopped something nice I could double up. On the flop, should I just flat call to see if I can hit my OESD, is raising spewing? Should I fold to the re-raise?

I usually fold pre cos I'm a wimp and I like to avoid tough spots (like this one!). Apart from that I can't see any other way to play this. I like raising the flop better than calling (fold equity/free card etc). When he 3 bets you obv need to call for pot odds. Sucks to put in nearly 40BB and fold - just a shame you ran into laggy when he had a hand.

Observation: The 50NL and 100NLish guys on this board really suck at picking spots to start a fight.

This flop is a really really easy call.

Since he's super aggro, you probably don't need to build the pot on the flop. Especially since two of your outs are tainted (Ah/9h). Against a nittier player, I like a bigger flop raise.

Was getting ready to say I was going to disagree with the flop raise, then I saw the two prior posts both said call as well. You can call on this flop because you still have a decent amount of money behind, and your hand is pretty well hidden. When the turn hits and bricks, with a smaller pot you can possibly afford to see (and maybe hit gin) on a nice river.

As played...gotta call the flop, and you gotta fold the turn.

The key stat in this post is the 10 AF. People like that are going to bet all the time, just make a hand and stack them.
