Shortstack muppet trying to protect his 9T with the heavy bet on the flop?

depends a bit on how what % you have been raising from Co & But.
Against unknown shorter stack I would put his range as any hand with a 9, flush draw , straight draw 10,10, JJ. Pair & draw.
I haven't Poker Stoved it but I think the equity is definitely in your favour when he makes the push considering money already in pot so I call.

To be honest though I hate getting involved in alot of big pots with one pair hands and something as medium as nines. I would probably just call the flop bet & re-evaluate turn,

What makes you think he has an overpair here?

What do you think he calls from the blinds?

It's TT+, a set or a draw. You only beat draws and the way the hand is played, I doubt villain has a draw often tbh.

BUT..you're getting about 1:2,5 on the call, so you have to win 30% to be profitable. I dunno, it's close, but I think you're on the wrong end of it.
