Yuck. Raise flop more if you're going to raise it, but I probably flat call without a read. You could easily be behind. As played, check behind turn, definitely fold to the turn c/r.

Your strategy of posting terrible hands and subjecting yourself to FTR ridicule in the hope it shames you into playing better has never occurred to me. Let me know if it works for you!

How much do you raise to? $45 or so? On the river are you calling most bets, but checking behind if he checks?

I figure I need to do something when bad play nets me money. Villian turned over QT. As soon as I raked in the chips here, I decided to call it a night b/c the play felt completely horrible. I suppose if I had had a read, but this guy had only been at the table for a couple of orbits.

I don't mind the flop raise that much, but IF your raise indeed make it more. The reason why raising can be good is because you want to let draws pay. You are giving 17:63...any reasonably draw isn't making a mistake to call that.
    Make it 50 or so.

A pot-size raise would be to $59, but I probably make it $45-50. It's close but I think I prefer flat-calling the donkbet. Without a read it could mean so much (top pair/oesd/set/air) and I don't really want to play a big pot with this hand. On the other hand, you can shut down if he shoves or calls a big flop raise... but I hate big bets for information.

Meh. Again, readless, it's tough. I'm probably folding to a river bet > 1/2 pot honestly. Might be weak, but you don't beat a lot that calls a flop raise imo, 98 is about it.

i think that zook was a little too hard on this hand. Its far from terrible.

First of all, and this is just after reading your other thread (the combodraw), we need you to tell us your reads if any, and your image (if anything just your xx/xx/x.x will suffice).

I think the flop rz is fine and i think the size is fine too. You could raise more, and definitely shouldn't raise any less, but i think your sizing is ok.

The turn is different. I think its an easy check, but if you want to bet, bet a little more so you can call a push. Your size makes the call of the push iffy because you aren't getting extremely good odds.

I'd check the turn because you have a good but not great hand and there is little value in the bet except as a semi-bluff (which isn't necessary considering that you have top pair).

I think it's fine, except I would consider checking the turn, as played I fold to the AI raise.
